Can it really be the end of 2009 already?  Time does fly when you're having fun, and we're having tons of fun in Sunday School and Youth Group!

This month's featured class is Ms. Tamie Turner's kindergarten class.  The smiling faces picture above had just finished learning all about Abraham and the stars that represented the number of his decendants.

Ms. Tamie's class along wiht some younger and older ones have also been working hard parcticing handbells to play during the Dec. 20 children and youth led service at Zion.  During that service, the older children and youth participated by playing instruments and reading scripture.

Meanwhile, some youth members participated in the Cocoa, Cookies and Caroling event at Zion on Dec. 13, assisting with refreshments. Next on the youth group’s agenda will be attending the youth rally in Ocean City on Jan. 8 – 10. At this point, we have 8 definite (and a few more maybes) who will be attending. Your prayers during that weekend will be appreciated, as we ask God to bless what the kids and their helpers will hear and that hearts and lives will be touched and transformed.

The annual youth group Super Bowl sub sale will also take place in January, so it will be a busy month!

Sunday School is held at Zion each Sunday from 9:45 – 10:45, for ages toddler through adult, so come on out and join us and bring a friend or two! Youth group meets the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 2 – 3:30 p.m., for grades 7 through 12.
